Our Environmental Management System goals exceed local
environmental protection standards to create a safer and cleaner
workplace and world.
We became ISO 14001 certified in 1996,
to demonstrate our commitment to the environment.
Some of our most notable initiatives include; the development of an LCD module that does not use lead or mercury and the creation of technology to reduce global warming.
Our Environmental Management System follows a four-step program :
HYDIS wishes to establish benchmarks for the operation of an environmentally sound business model. Our environmental policy includes the following objectives:
 To quickly implement internal standards and procedures, adhering to international and local
environmental regulations and requirements.
To actively protect the environment when acquiring raw materials, and also through the manufacturing,
packaging and delivery of the final product.
To mindfully use natural resources by conserving energy; improving efficiency; using renewable energy
sources when possible; reusing and recycling materials; purchasing recycled materials; and using
recyclable packaging.
To constantly work toward developing environmentally friendly technologies, in order to produce green
products.
To always educate employees so that individual responsibility for the environment is recognized.
To continually expand our knowledge and understanding of the impact our operations have on the environment.
To properly inform contractors and suppliers of our environmental standards. |
